Horseshoe Bend is one of Page Arizona's greatest scenic attractions. Located a few miles southwest Glen Canyon and Lake Powell, tourists venture to the edge of a natural overlook to capture an iconic shot of the Colorado River meandering around the acute geological features of the northern Arizona desert. This image requires considerable planning and skill. A wide angle lens is essential along with mountain-goat dexterity to traverse the steep cliff that overlooks the 1,000-foot drop. A GND or polarizing filter is also necessary to tame the horizon. Not for the faint of heart or those with a fear of heights!
